have been writing songs together for many years!
They have a strong and diverse collection of songs that have been covered by other artists as well as, have been used in film and tv. They continue to work together and with other established songwriters on projects that require songs for film, television and corporate projects. With albums, Sunglass Stories and Reflection from a Surface, DK and Lauren have worked as a team promoting and creating successful projects. Over the years, they have also embraced working with other established songwriters.
DK is also a solo guitar player/ singer with his own collection of originals. He brings his unique poetic imagery to each song of depth and intelligence.
We are available to showcase the eclectic collection of music we have written over the years.
LAUREN & JJ PAUL DUGO

longtime NYC friends and writing partners. they specialize in writing short, quick to the point branding jingles and identifiable tunes for promotion and commercial use. JJ Paul is a talented guitarist, singer/songwriter, producer & bandleader.
In his early years he formed his unique style by drawing inspiration mostly from his father, a multi- instrumentalist and deep musical source, and took his six string skills out on the road with original bands and also as a solo artist. He later performed as a writer and guitarist on the recordings of other solo artists and on national commercial spots both on TV & radio. It was during this time that he met and began a co-writing relationship with Lauren Echo spanning many musical styles with the common thread of always putting the equity of a beautifully written song first.
He is presently the leader of ‘Royal Tea’, a popular top 40 cover band performing around the tri-state area and he also plays the part of Keith Richards in the fan favorite Rolling Stones Tribute band ‘Sha Doobie’.
Lauren and Paul are available to work on your specific project ideas and with two vocalist, two musicians and two songwriters, you are sure to have a great product.
